Our Approach to Cookies

YouTube Creator Toolkit is designed with minimal use of cookies and browser storage. We believe in transparency about what gets stored in your browser.

What We Store

JWT Authentication Token: Stored in localStorage (not a cookie). This keeps you signed in between visits. It contains your user ID, email, and subscription tier. It expires after 15 minutes and is automatically refreshed.
Refresh Token: Stored in localStorage. Used to obtain new authentication tokens without requiring you to sign in again. Valid for 30 days.

What We Do Not Use

No third-party tracking cookies (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no ad trackers).
No cross-site tracking of any kind.
No fingerprinting or device identification beyond standard authentication.

Cloudflare Cookies

Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare, which may set the following cookies for security and performance purposes:

__cf_bm: A Cloudflare bot management cookie used to distinguish humans from automated traffic. This is a strictly necessary cookie and expires after 30 minutes.
__cfruid: A Cloudflare cookie used for rate limiting. It does not track you across sites.

These cookies are set by Cloudflare's infrastructure and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can learn more in Cloudflare's cookie documentation.

Managing Storage

You can clear your authentication tokens at any time by logging out of the application, or by clearing your browser's localStorage for ytcreator.tools. Cloudflare cookies can be managed through your browser's standard cookie settings.
